Namaskar, I am very glad that you are on this page. Although never a very religious person, I consider myself being spiritual (maybe a spiritual enthusiast). I have spent more than 1008 days editing and publishing articles related to Spirituality and Sanatana Dharma. This perhaps explains why I am interested in Hindu Scriptures like Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
Many Rishis (Sages), Masters, Scholars, Yogis, etc have indeed tried to explain this “Divine Knowledge” from a different perspective – emphasizing renunciation, devotion, knowledge, and wisdom. The purpose of Onlinegita.com is to share the words spoken by Sri Krishna in Sanskrit and translations in English. I also wish to add more languages in the coming days, and commentary by multiple Gurus and Masters.
Bhagavad Gita is like an Ocean of Knowledge, you can dive into it and get knowledge based on what you are looking for or how deep you can delve into. The verses of Gita are revealing, they are full of deep meaning. Bhagavad Gita Spoken by Sri Krishna led Arjuna to the unchanging, eternal truth, beyond the limit of time and space and above the transient and time-bound worldly relationships.
At the end of Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna rests on the feet of Sri Krishna who is the center of the entire universe and creator, preserver, absorber of everyone and everything in existence. It makes us realize that Krishna pervades the entire cosmos, he alone is the one that exists.
I request you to participate in the discourse here at Onlinegita.com.
