Description of the Lord Krishna as per Srimad Bhagavad Gita

4.6

Krishna’s Statement: Though I am unborn, imperishable, and the Lord of all beings, yet, subjugating My own nature, I take birth through My own Maya.
(Krishna reveals Himself as the eternal, unborn Lord who incarnates by His divine power to interact with the world.)

4.7–4.8

Krishna’s Statement: Whenever righteousness declines and unrighteousness prevails, I manifest Myself. To protect the virtuous, destroy the wicked, and establish dharma, I incarnate in every age.
(Krishna describes His role as the divine protector who incarnates to restore cosmic order and uphold righteousness.)

7.6–7.7

Krishna’s Statement: Know that all beings originate from My material and spiritual energies. I am the source of all creation, and there is nothing higher than Me; all this is strung on Me like pearls on a thread.
(Krishna identifies Himself as the supreme source of all existence, encompassing both material and spiritual realms.)

7.8–7.11

Krishna’s Statement: I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and moon, the syllable Om, the sound in ether, the ability in man, the fragrance of earth, the brilliance of fire, the life in all beings, and the strength of the strong, free from desire.
(Krishna describes Himself as the essence of all creation, pervading every aspect of existence with His divine qualities.)

9.11

(Krishna explains that His human form conceals His supreme, transcendental nature as the Lord of all.)

10.8

(Krishna affirms His role as the origin of all existence, inspiring devotion among those who recognize His supremacy.)

10.19–10.42

Krishna’s Statement: I am the self in all beings, the beginning, middle, and end of all. I am Vishnu among the Adityas, the sun among luminaries, the mind among senses, and the origin of all creation.
(Krishna describes His infinite divine manifestations, emphasizing His omnipresence and supremacy in all aspects of creation.)

11.32

Krishna’s Statement: I am mighty Time, the destroyer of worlds, now engaged in destroying all people.
(Krishna reveals Himself as the cosmic force of Time, responsible for the destruction of all creation.)

11.47–11.48

Krishna’s Statement: Out of grace, I have shown you this supreme form by My own yogic power. This cosmic form, never seen before, cannot be seen by anyone else through any means.
(Krishna emphasizes the exclusivity of His cosmic form, revealed only through His divine grace to Arjuna.)

15.15

Krishna’s Statement: I am seated in the hearts of all; from Me come memory, knowledge, and their loss. I am the knower and the known of the Vedas, and the maker of Vedanta.
